Do What You Should Do

There are things you should do just because you are living on this planet. You have a duty¹ to your parents for raising you. You have a duty to your friends and other people around you for helping you to live well. You can pay these people back in many ways. Doing chores and helping around the house is an example of doing your duty. Helping out in school or in clubs is another way. Just saying “thank you” to a person who drives you somewhere is something you should do.

If you aren’t sure what someone expects of you, ask them and fi nd out what you can do so they feel you have done your duty to them.
